The Disappearing Bag...

It was Monday of week 1 term 2, it was rainy, cold and miserable. Avary packed her bag to go to school… her mum's friends came and picked her up and dropped her off, Avary was the richest kid in school she would always bring a bag full of money everyday, just for the purpose of it. She was so rich,she had a big group of friends, a GINORMOUS House, no siblings and the best parents. Avary didn't like how rich she was until one day she decided to show off how much money she had to her big group of friends, she bought a bag full of GOLD…

It was the first break and Avary pulled out her bag of gold to show everyone. As Avary was showing her friends there was this one kid Tom, everyone knows Tom is the most poorest unpopular kid in town, Tom was looking at Avary’s bag of gold with a big smirk on his face, “ring ring” there goes the bell it was time for 2 period, Avary put her bag of gold on a hook outside the classroom, Avary though it was safe idea but No it wasn't, because after 2 period Avary walked out of her classroom with a big smile on her face until her face dropped and tears started to roll down her face, AVARY'S BAG OF GOLD WAS GONE!?! It DISAPPEARED. 

Avary was determined to find who took her bag of gold… Avary had a bit of an idea who she thought it was… Tom was Poor and unpopular so Avary knew that he was the one that took it. Avary ran to Tom's classroom as fast as a cheetah and confronted him straight away…

Avary got too Tom's room and bursted in with anger “ where is my bag of gold TOM” Tom was clueless, Tom had no idea what was going on, Avary searched his bag  and all his pockets with anger and tears, Avary was devastated, SHE COULDN'T FIND HER GOLD ANYWHERE…

Avary then went looking around the whole school for her precious bag of gold, but nothing Avary fell to the ground, balling her eyes out. Until…

Avary saw a shining piece of gold sticking out from the corner of a bag in the cleaners room, Avary walked over very slowly to check it out, she wiped her tears back and sniffed her nose… Avary walked over and saw… 

She couldn't believe her eyes, Avary’s bag of gold was with the cleaner!?! The cleaner had taken her gold… Avary couldn't believe it She burst into the room screaming and yelling “THEIF THEIF” “OUR SCHOOL CLEANER A THIEF” within two minutes the whole school was there… THE SCHOOL CLEANER WAS A THIEF!

The Storm…

It was a hot blue sky summer day out on the water, Alex Kyle and their parents decided to go out on their big old  wooden fishing boat for the weekend! The weather forecast was reading sunny  blue skies, flat crystal clear water with a slight breeze of the sea salt windy air. As we were going out deeper and deeper…

We started to see humongous grey rainy clouds and the waves in the distance started to get larger and larger!

Then loud roaring thunder started and it started to shake the boat like an earthquake...Waves started to crash over the front of the boat then in a blink, lightning struck! It started to strike the boat nearly every 5 seconds! Alex Kyle and their parents  had nowhere to go. Large waves were everywhere  they were as scared and a mouse gets when it sees a cat…

There was nothing else to do other than jump into the little boat that's attached to the big old wooden boat in case of emergencies… This was an emergency  Alex and Kyle's parents jumped in first then called Alex and Kyle to jump. It was only a small little boat so they were getting thrown around wave by wave! As they were getting thrown around they were in sight of an island… All four of them held on tight and just paddled as close as they could to get to the island. They all then ended up washed up on the island the next day…

One of today's tasks was to make a poster about life on another planet... I chose Saturn and this is how it turned out !

Something We did outside...

On the weekend it was a beautiful sunny springs day... but unfortunately we are in Lockdown... I just wish that we could go outside for a swim or go out for dinner or maybe hang out with some friends but no we cant... because of this pandemic that is going on. But besides from that my dad took me on a challenging motorbike ride! it was lots of fun there was a lot of gravel and grass hills... so that was my weekend fun!

lockdown outdoor fun!

 As you may know New Zealand is in alert level 4 so we arent aloud to do every weekend activitys like we normally do... A few weekends ago it  was my 13th birthday! sadly I had to spend it in lockdown. So my wonderfull mother tried to make it as fun as possible. We got up in the morning and my mum made me a nice breakfast, we then went on a walk down the beach and collected some shells. When we got home my sister and I played outside on the trampoline and with a volleyball. So my birthday was pretty boring thanks to lockdown!

What Can You Do To Make Yourself a Better Citizen?

 Today's task was to think of ways to make the world live longer. Here are a few ways. And for you to be a better citizen.

1. If you don't have solar panels, try to turn off the light so its not wasting to much power.

2. When you go fishing and you take fish that is to small and illegal put it back in the water and try again to get a legal catch.  

3.  When your brushing your teeth turn the water off, don't leave it on, that's just wasting water.

4. If your family doesn't recycle try and convince them to reduce recycle reuse. 

5. Try to drive less, try public transport or ride a bicycle, or if you have the money buy a electric car it will reduce the gasses and keep our air clean.

6. When your grocery shopping try and check the country it got imported from instead of taking items from other country's try and take New Zealand made items.

As you can see I have listed some ways to be a better citizen. Try these ways and you can change the world and be a better citizen yourself.

 The Disappearing Day…

‘’Swoosh , swoosh’’ went the wind. It was a cold , windy Saturday evening and Jake's parents were getting ready to go away for the weekend. Jake's parents weren't ready to leave their 13 year old son on his own for the weekend. It hit 5 ‘ o'clock and Jake's parents were about to leave. They gave him some rules and hoped Jake would follow those rules…

Later on Jake was getting bored eating , watching tv , and reading. He was bored. So he decided to go for a bit of a walk , just before it got dark. Jake put a warm jumper on and threw his old running shoes on. As Jake was strolling down the street , kicking sticks and stones. Jake saw a mailbox disappear  right in front of his eyes. Jake got a bit worried and decided to turn around and head back home to where he was safe. As he turned around he saw a street that he had never seen or noticed before. Of course Jake was that stupid he walked down it! It led him to a long wooden swinging bridge. Jake walked across the bridge very slowly. Jake laid his hand on the icy cold rail and started walking, the bridge was making seeking noises. Jake ran across the bridge as fast as a cheetah could run because every single step he took a piece of wood would disappear. Jake then got to the other scared as scared as a person gets when they see a ghost. He had no way back. THE BRIDGE WAS GONE!

Jake then realised he had nothing! No warm clothes , no food , no water, nothing Jake was trapped and had no way out! The rail then disappeared so Jake definitely couldn't escape. As Jake reached in his back pocket to grab his phone, it had also vanished out of his hand, Jake had no way out. So all he could do was scream for help…

Today for maths we had to learn about Multiples and factors. Personally I find multiples and Factors a bit tricky. Its basically, Multiples is numbers that can be divided by another number a certain amount of times without a remainder. And a Factor is a a number or algebraic expression that divides another number evenly. I did my work in my Maths book so I don't have anything to upload sorry :(

Haunted Kids

 LI: write a review on the last good book you read.

This story is the last story I read and i really enjoyed it. It has different chapters of a different horror story At the moment I'm reading chapter 3 and it is called, The Headless Trainman.  I enjoy reading this story because it keeps you on your feet.

I would definitely recommend this story.

 The Mysterious Paper Bag

‘’Ahhhhh rise and shine’’ said Elise’s mum. . As Elise stumbled out of bed as cold as ice, on a rainy cold winter morning. She got up and stumbled herself to the kitchen, she poured herself a bowl of cereal and gulped it down in a rush. Elise then made her way up the stairs to her wardrobe and got her clothes out for the day. She chose to wear some warm layers of clothes for this cold dreadful rainy day. She then brushed her teeth and hair and made her way down to the front door. Elise threw her bag onto her back and stumbled out the door. She grabbed her umbrella and walked to her friend's house where they were meeting to walk to school. As she walked past she saw standing there her two best friends Alyssa and Mia she rushed over to them with excitement they then popped their umbrellas up and walked to school listening to the pitta patter raindrops hit the umbrella. When they finally arrived at school, They placed their bags down and walked into the mysteriously quiet classroom. When the three girls went and sat down they heard the bell ‘’ring ring ring ring’’... 

When the bell went and the class was awfully silent, a mysterious lady walked in that we have never seen before. She walked in with a long black cloak with a hoodie on. You couldn't see her face or anything. She just walked in and placed a brown paper bag on the table. 

When the bag got put down everyone was just staring right at it for a good 10 seconds straight, until it started to move. It wiggled and rustled and tossed and turned so Mia Elise and Myself decided to walk over and look. As we walked over we saw glowing coming out the top of the paper bag. Then it started to move even more…

After a while of discussion and thinking about what to do the three girls decided to open the bag and take out whatever was in it. Alyssa, Mia, and Elise walked to the sports shed. They put on some protective gear that they would think would protect them from what was in the paper bag. They put on a baseball helmet and a bit more protective sports gear. Then they walked back to the classroom trying not to make a single noise. They walked into the classroom and approached the paper bag Elise opened the top of the bag and pulled out the shiny metal thing. When she pulled it out they were so surprised to see that it was a genie lantern. A genie flew out of the lantern ‘’swoooshhhhhh’’ and it said to the three girls, ‘’ after years and years you found me I will now grant you, three girls, 3 wishes each’’. The girls got so excited and had a discussion about what they should wish for. And that was the end of what was in a mysterious-looking paper bag.

Mias feedback - Really cool, entertaining story. A lot of detail was added.. I would like it if the ending was longer though .

For Writing this week we had to write a narrative about what was in a paper bag, this is my story and I think I did a alright job. When I finished writing I had to get a buddy to give me feedback on my writing, Mia gave me some feedback.

Today for Reading we had to read a story then use scratch to make a animation about a character in the story. In page two it said that they were getting eaten by mosquitoes so my animation was dedicated to them getting eaten by mosquito very basic.

The Sly Fox

The full moon was out and it was Dark cloudy, cold, and Still. It was Noah's turn to do the dishes because his troublesome sister wouldn't do her week. So Noah had to think of a plan, a plan that could get him out of doing his sister's chores. So he sprinted to his room and climbed out his window and took off into the deep dark frightening woods, little does Noah know there are sly foxes on the loose…

When Noah was halfway into the woods with No food, No water, No warm clothes, or anything to survive… Then Noah had to have a rest so he sat down near a HUMONGOUS oak tree. He had a little rest and when he opened his eyes he noticed that he was staring straight into sly foxes' deep dark eyes. The fox was a smokey orange color with a snow-white tummy he had pointy dirty blond ears that would stick up when he heard a sudden move. Noah got petrified and started to panic. He was staring into a fox's soul… He didn't know what to do but sit there and watch this fox circle him. Then from the unknown Noah heard a deep frightening voice that said ‘’Don't be scared you're our only hope’’. Noah didn't know what emotion to feel. He was so frightened and had cold shivers going down his spine. He had a good think about what was going on and thought that he should follow what the voice said “don't be frightened’’. So Noah stood up and followed the fox… He followed the fox into a dark sturdy cave. As Noah was walking into the cave he had butterflies in his stomach and so many thoughts going through his head. He then looked up and saw a whole pack of foxes eyeing him right into his eyes. At this moment Noah realized that it was a bad idea to have listened to the voice he heard. 

Noah was so scared and had no clue what to do about it. He stood there in fear of why all these foxes were staring right at him. Again he had to think of a plan. Noah couldn't run Because there were foxes everywhere he looked. There were foxes to his left, foxes to his right, foxes in front of him, and foxes behind him. He didn't have a clue what to do. Noah thought and thought even harder than DING. A brilliant idea came to Noah's mind. He knew and learned that foxes got frightened when they heard a loud noise, So Noah thought that if he clapped or made a loud noise the foxes would all run back into the deep dark sturdy cave. 

So Noah clapped as loud as he could and all he saw was the foxes lay down on their bellies as frightened as a mouse when it saw a cat. Then all I could hear was the foxes jump and their feet were stumping and it echoed in the cave. I ran when the sight was clear of foxes, I ran out of the deep dark sturdy cave and I was hoping the foxes were so deep in the cave they couldn't hear my footsteps echoing I ran home and jumped into bed hopefully no one could hear me. And that was the story of the day I listened to a deep frightened voice in the woods.

Today for maths we did ordering decimal from smallest to biggest It was pretty easy because iv'e learnt how to do this several times. I don't think I need to improve on anything because i'm pretty sure I got most of it correct.
